To Anne in Oxfordshire, from Paris

Carolyn, Barbara, and Leesa in Paris

Paris

Anne in Oxfordshire is actually in Canada at the moment, where we hope she’s having a fabulous birthday visit with her family.

On a day of glorious Parisian sunshine, a few of Anne’s blogger friends wanted to say Hello and wish you were here!

Anne recently spent a few days in London and Oxfordshire with Leesa and Barbara; today, Clive and I were the lucky ones.

We wish we had more time to meet all the great Paris bloggers in person, but it’s just not possible this trip. Here’s hoping for our next visit.

Until we all meet again — Anne, the postcard’s in the mail.

A postcard for Anne's collection

Cheers and more soon about four Paris places we enjoyed today.

Thank you so much, Leesa and Barbara, for a wonderful time!

Hello Carolyn and Clive, how great that you got to see Barbara and Leesa, our two great friends … it is amazing how we are connected.

Take care and hope you have a great time, 🙂

  2. If you didn’t have friends in Paris, you sure do now. That is so wonderful.

  3. Yes, we were all partners in this surprise.
It was great pulling this one off!!!

Anne, I’am sorry that I missed mailing your birthday card, I missplaced your address at home and I cant find it anywhere.
But, my heart is definately with you.

Thanks again, Carolyn,Clive and Leesa for a supurb afternoon. It was a real treat. You are both special people and I enjoy being with you.
    xoxo

  4. Anne, so happy you saw this, and on your birthday too! Look forward to your posts about Canada 🙂 and again HAPPY BIRHDAY!

Nadege, thanks for your comment (and one of these times you’ll have to join the crowd in person!) It really is amazing — to paraphrase something Barbara said, the blogging connection has brought many people together in friendship and peace.

And Barbara, let’s do it again soon – wherever our paths may cross.

    Cheers all.

  5. Oh my gosh!! This post got me all teary-eyed! I just realized what wonderful people I know all thanks to blogging!!! All of you!! It’s just a real blessing in my life and I’m really fortunate to know all of you… and even though we are separated by the miles (except me and Barbara, really)… we find a way to stay in touch through emails and blogging and then when we do meet again when you are here — it’s like a reunion of old friends!!

Thanks to you all for making the day a very special one.. I had a beautiful day and we couldn’t have had better weather!
    Until next time!
    Hugs,
    Leese

  6. Hi Leesa! It was definitely a beautiful day.

    I love the word ‘reunion’ — that’s a perfect description 🙂

Cheers and take care until we meet again.

  7. So good to see you all, and I am glad to know it was a good time. 🙂 Thank you for connecting Leesa and me, too, and I hope for more times in the future to gather and share Paris together.

A belated happy birthday to Anne, too. 🙂

    Be well!

  8. Karin, great to ‘see’ you here, too — I wish I could be at the next get-together in Paris and really look forward to connecting with all of you sooner rather than later 🙂

    Cheers and enjoy!

  9. Hi again Carolyn….
