Post-Paris Reflections

‘We Love Paris’ at Place de la Concorde

‘We Love Paris’ at Place de la Concorde

Always I leave part of my heart in Paris, though now we’re back in the UK, my thoughts are centred upon my son’s weekend arrival for a pre-Christmas visit (yippee!).

Friends near and far continue to ask, ‘How was Paris?’

We tell them Paris was fine, it was good — it was wonderful, actually – though you can sense an underlying sadness and it’s quieter than usual for this time of year.

Paris remains a sensational destination. I hope and pray our Parisian friends and acquaintances have a blessed holiday, and that when the lights and decorations are put away and the Christmas markets shut down, that 2016 will be for them and the City of Light a year of peace and health and happiness.

Wishing these blessings for everyone, in the USA, Europe, Australia and everywhere else in the world.

A very merry Christmas and happy holidays to all.

Cheers and thanks for reading. Next week’s (Christmas Eve!) letter will be from Felixstowe.
