Live from Washington, D.C.

Abraham Lincoln at the ballpark

Washington, D.C. USA

– Australia vs. USA friendly; last warm-up game before World Cup
– Live on TV in my son’s apartment
– Eggs and American bacon (aaaahhhhhh) on the agenda
– Hanging out with two of the most important men in my life

The only dilemma: for whom are we cheering?

At the same time, Samantha Stosur is in the final of the French Open.

No dilemma with the tennis.  Go, Aussie, go!

UPDATE:  Not a good day for the Australians.  It’s great to be with my ‘boys’, though.  We’re off to show Clive a bit more of the nation’s capital.

Abraham Lincoln & National Archives Civil War Exhibition

Cheers for now.  Have a great weekend, everyone!

  1. I’m spending the afternoon catching up on internet friends’ posts (as the comments on back posts can attest, lol). So nice to be able to do this on a Sunday afternoon. Have a wonderful time with family and friends, Carolyn!

Karin, sounds like a great Sunday afternoon – relaxing and catching up on reading, etc. 🙂

Kim, the Presidents’ Race was fantastic!! Poor Teddy R. ALWAYS loses … the kids (and adults) love it — what a great tradition.

    Cheers all.
