Sydney, Sunday

Today was the biggest day of the season for cruise ships in Sydney Harbour.

As mentioned in my earlier post, ‘Peak Hour for Cruise Ships on Sydney Harbour,’ there were four passenger ships in Sydney today, three of which couldn’t fit under the Harbour Bridge.

Clive’s daughter drove to our place from south of Sydney this morning, and experienced bumper-to-bumper traffic in the city.

News stations attributed the traffic to visitors and residents alike converging around the central Harbour area to view the ships and enjoy the sunshine and 24 degrees C on the Harbour foreshores.

Ships in Sydney today and their origin/port:

·        Millennium (Celebrity) – Melbourne/Melbourne

·        Crystal Serenity (Crystal) – Dunedin/Melbourne

·        Aurora (P&O) – Brisbane/Wellington

·        Pacific Dawn (P&O) – Noumea/Noumea

The best site we’ve found to track these comings and goings is the Sydney Ports Ship Schedule.
