Snow and Sleet in Suffolk

Capel St. Mary, Suffolk, England

Having completed the process of emptying my mother’s house in the U.S., we arrived in England to spend a few days visiting Clive’s father and family.  Thanks to British Airways, our overweight bags (by 4kg) were simply checked through with a “Heavy” tag and no additional charge.

We were already looking forward to getting back to Sydney and summer, and England’s morning snow, sleet, and freezing rain only added to our feeling that it’s time to be home.  That said, we are cherishing our remaining time with Clive’s side of the family, and looking forward to a final few days in Paris, including Thanksgiving Thursday, before our long return flight.

We stopped at the Felixstowe Docks viewing area in between family visits, and the sun obliged by breaking through the clouds.
