There are always comings and goings on Sydney Harbour; on this winter weekday, only two yachts were sailing between the Heads.
It’s a good day to be inside and put the suitcases on the floor. I like to have mine open and fill it gradually; unlike Clive, I can’t seem to master the art of packing the night before departure.
We still have a million things to do this coming week, and even if I don’t put anything in it for a few days, it helps me psychologically to have it out. I can at least pretend I’m making progress with packing.
Six months ago on a summer Saturday, quite a few more boats braved similar weather.
